Re: Book Discussion Group
Renee, I'm curious to know how your discussions turned out. I'm in a small town in northern Wisconsin. I set up a book discussion last school year, six books over 7 months, and put up flyers everywhere I could think of. Only two people came to discuss books, both members of my church. We had great discussions and because we were a small group it was relatively easy to reschedule the couple times that we needed to.
I'm thinking about a book discussion this year, but not getting it arranged in any hurry. The theme last year was "Liberty and Law". I think this year it will be "Leadership". We'll be discussing a couple of novels, as well as some historical classics, I think.
Re: Book Discussion Group
I would like to add to my original post to say that after we discuss, "Lonesome Gods" in December, we will be discussing, "A Thomas Jefferson Education" in January. All are welcome, but this will be of particular interest to those who are new to TJEd.
