Inspire not require, you not them?

in

My children are fiercely independent and have fought being told what to do and/or how to do it from day 1. And yet, most of my parenting up until now has been all about requiring from them. Requring chores, requiring education, requiring respect, ect. to no avail, all the while wishing I could just focus on developing ME and inspiring them along the way. Sounded too easy...!

So now I discover TJED. How do I inspire family work and learning in the core phase with preteens who are already set in their ways ?!

I would strongly recommend you look into teachingselfgovernment.com. This is a TJEd mom with world-class skills and wisdom in parenting. She and her family were recently featured on a British reality show about parenting, and she's my go-to gal with anyone who has concerns about the order and harmony of their home. She's wonderful!
