Mom School

I am reading the TJEdRefers generally to the concepts presented in the book A Thomas Jefferson Education, written by Dr. Oliver DeMille. We also have an Introduction to Thomas Jefferson Education available elsewhere on this site. Home Companion and there are many chapters about Mom Schools. The idea is so wonderful to me, yet I have no one to invite or share the experience of learning. I don't want to miss out on the many blessings of a Mom School, in fact it is what I always pictured doing whenever I though about Homeschooling. Will I be doing my children an injustice by not holding one or should I go ahead and invite children who are not homeschooled? I am concerned that their attention would rather be focused else where. I'm not sure they would be interested. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am in northern San Joaquin County, California.

Mom Schools

When I held my first mom school, I had a full time public school child, several part time and several full time home school children. We met after school hours.
