Suggestion for the Locator

Rachel and Russell,

Just a little suggestion for you.

Would it be possible to have state maps on the locator when you search by state? I was looking today to see how many people do TJEdRefers generally to the concepts presented in the book A Thomas Jefferson Education, written by Dr. Oliver DeMille. We also have an Introduction to Thomas Jefferson Education available elsewhere on this site. in specific states we may be looking to move to and since I don't know the states too well the listing didn't help me know how close they are to each other (other than the mileage part, of course). If there were a state map with the little red dots that would help, too.

Anyway, just an idea.

Actually, Russell and I are looking at making some improvements to the Locator, and that's one we'll definitely consider! Hopefully it can happen sooner than later, right? We'll keep you posted.

Locator Improvements

The locator has now been reworked to be a lot more useful in finding other families near you. You can now zoom the map via the plus and minus buttons on the left side, to any level you want, from street level to entire world. You won't be able to see every user at the same time (adding 1,500+ markers tends to crash browsers), but you can page through the list of families, and see where they are in location to you.
