How Would You Like All the Latest TJEd Happenings
Delivered Right to Your Inbox, and a Free Gift as Well?
In an ongoing effort to strengthen the TJEd community, the Thomas Jefferson
Education Consortium is pleased to announce the addition of a monthly
newsletter to our services — The TJEd Times. Once a month, maybe twice if
there’s a lot going on, we’ll send you all the news we can find to help you in
your quest for Leadership Education. Each edition is absolutely packed with
information to keep you up-to-date with what’s going on in the TJEd world and
inspire you on to leadership and greatness yourself.
Here are just a few of the features you’ll find in our premier issue.
- Calendar of upcoming TJEd events – in Cedar City and elsewhere
- Interviews with leaders and speakers in the TJEd community at large
- The most interesting conversations happening in the forums
- And much, much more...
We want the TJEd Times to spread as far and wide as possible. The larger our
community grows, the more opportunities for leadership are created (this is
about Leadership Education, after all) and the more we can inspire
each other on to true greatness. In the end, this has an impact on the very
freedom of our society.
Because we really want you to be part of this community, we’re offering you
a free gift just for signing up. It’s just a token of our friendship and
commitment to serve you.
We all know that a world-class education
starts with reading the classics—coming face to face with greatness, and
letting some of that greatness rub of on us. This is the way the statesmen of
the past have been trained through all of history. This is what TJEd is all
about.
But sometimes just reading a classic can seem like a daunting task,
especially when you have a hard time getting your hands on the book. If you’re
like us, the classics you want are usually already checked out at the public
library (that’s what happens when you start a TJEd group in your city),
especially if there’s an upcoming seminar or book discussion. And if both
husband and wife are trying to study the same classic, things get even harder.
So a few years ago, when Rachel was hosting the Face to Face with Greatness
Seminar #1 put on by George Wythe College, I put together a digital version
of Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre, so that the participants would
have one less book to worry about finding. Now we’re offering this e-book to you.
You can read the whole thing on your computer, or better yet, print out a
chapter at a time and carry it around with you. It’s great for reading in the
back yard under a tree after lunch, or when you find you have a few extra
minutes at an appointment or in the bathroom. Whatever works best for you, and
you can mark up your own copy to your heart’s content.
Just fill out the form below with your first name and the e-mail address
you check most often, and then click the submit button. You’ll then be asked
to verify your subscription, after which you’ll be sent a welcome letter
detailing how to download your free copy of Jane Eyre. All of this
takes place in just a few seconds, so you can be reading one of our favorite
classics in a matter of minutes.
