Question: Would you consider all of the books these links take you to as classics?

Not at all. These are simply lists to pick and choose from. I, for one, don’t favor “youth literature”(come to think of it, I think I’ll remove that link!), and I tend to like the award winners. But even at that, you have to be really choosy. For me, a “classic” is something worth returning to over and over again because it yields more value with each experience. Some of these will qualify for some of us, some not. I just ordered the “Magic Tree House” series yesterday, on the recommendation of many moms like yourself, and am looking forward to going through them with my youngest 2 girls over the summer. We’re fresh out of Boxcar Children, and needed some fresh material!! xoxo rd
